Everything you need to know before your Paint Pinot session.
No… we are a fully licensed Art Wine Bar that offers a full range of wines, beer and awesome cocktails plus a range of delicious food for you to purchase. Our partner venues all have their own delicious selection of food and beverages. Please check with each venue.
One painting will be chosen per session, so that our amazing artists can give you as much guidance and attention as possible. They'll lead you through the process step-by-step so that you have an incredible piece of art to take home with you. That said, we do love individuality in our painters so don't be afraid to throw in a bit of your own flair.
Absolutely! We strongly believe that everyone has a creative side. Everyone has at least one painting in them. And with our talented artists to lead the way, you really can't go wrong. Check out our Wall of Fame to see some of the paintings produced by our past guests.
Our paintings are all created with lots of interesting information and detail for the hidden painter in you. You can always choose to pare back the elements that you deem too tricky, your artist for the day will assist you. Our paintings are just a guide for you to follow at your own ability.
You sure can. After all it's your masterpiece. We hope you'll display it proudly in your home.
Most sessions last up to 3 hours.
Our venue in Braddon is not very large and if we have a full house there is not really enough room for non-painters. Our partner venues are all different sizes and it would be best to check with each individual venue.
Unfortunately, we don't have child minding facilities and cannot accommodate young children. However, teenagers over 14 years of age can come if they're accompanied by an adult and you are both painting.
Yes! It is important that you book and pay online, so that we have an easel, art materials and enough food and drink to meet your needs. Because we ask people to book upfront, everything you need will be set up for you, so all you need to do is get yourself settled and time to order a drink and food.
Public sessions are held on the same day each week. For a different day, you can book a private event (minimum 15 people, sometimes 20–25). You also get to choose the painting for the group.
We understand that you want to look as fabulous as your painting will. That's why we supply an apron with a bib. But be warned, we use acrylic paint that can be removed, if it is washed out immediately, but once dry it can be difficult to remove. So, it's best not to wear your most expensive cashmere jumper! Oh, and berets are optional.
We recommend you don't. We offer a range of delicious, freshly prepared food for purchase on site. View our menu here.
Aim to arrive 15 minutes before your start time to get seated, order your first drinks and food. We always try to start on time to maximise your painting experience.
As a small business, we rely on bookings to keep things running, so we have the following policy. Cancellation & Refunds (for groups of 6+): • Cancel 14 days or more before the event: 75% refund • Cancel 7–13 days before: 50% refund • Cancel less than 7 days before: No refund We will try to resell any cancelled tickets, but we cannot guarantee it, especially close to the event date. Important note: Money paid for painting tickets cannot be transferred to pay for food and drinks.
We'll do our best to transfer your ticket to another session at no charge (as long as it's not part of a large group cancellation). Transfers made within 48 hours of the event will incur a $25 fee. Partial refunds may also be available as per the private booking policy above.
